Dr. Massimo Ferrara

Adult dentistry, aesthetics, prosthetics and implantology

Head of adult dentistry, Dr. Massimo Ferrara graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Bari. With a natural empathy that builds trust with patients, he has broadened his expertise over the years with a multidisciplinary approach.

He completed the two-year programme at the Center for Functional Occlusion of the American school of Dr. Roth and Dr. Williams on gnathological disorders, and advanced training in orthognathic surgery with Dr. Raffaini and Dr. Cocconi. He earned a Master's in Implant Surgery at the University of Naples, with numerous excellence courses in periodontology and dental aesthetics.

Author of scientific articles and congress speaker, with over 30 years of experience he is a reference for general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics and implantology. Outside the practice he is passionate about sailing.

Dr. Irene Ferrara

Orthodontics and paediatric dentistry

Head of paediatric dentistry and orthodontics, Dr. Irene Ferrara graduated with top marks in Dentistry at the Universidad Europea in Madrid, defending at 23 a thesis in English on orthognathic surgery and orthodontics, with international experience at Charles University in Prague.

Back in Bari to serve her community, she practises paediatric dentistry with an empathetic, playful approach, working with paediatricians, schools and nurseries to promote oral health.

She is an orthodontics consultant for several practices in Puglia and a member of FACEXP, the association of some of Italy's best orthodontists. In her free time she loves backpacking, photography and oriental cuisine.
