How a dental implant works
An implant is a small titanium screw that replaces the root of a missing tooth: bone bonds intimately to it (osseointegration), creating a stable base to build the crown on. It is the reference solution to replace one or more teeth without involving healthy neighbouring teeth.
3D planning for maximum safety
Every procedure starts from the case study with in-house 3D CBCT: we map bone volumes, nerves and sinuses to the millimetre, reducing the margin of error almost to zero. The intraoral scanner impression then guides the final crown, with no unpleasant pastes.
Oral surgery and patient comfort
We perform implants, wisdom-tooth extractions and gum-lesion care under local anaesthesia, with conscious sedation for those who wish. When a natural tooth can be saved with restorative or endodontic care, saving it remains the first choice: the assessment is always multidisciplinary.

Is the procedure painful?
No: it is performed under local anaesthesia and, for anxious patients, with conscious sedation. Post-operative discomfort is usually manageable with common painkillers for a few days.
How long does an implant last?
With good hygiene and regular check-ups a well-integrated implant can last decades. Maintenance is the most important factor.
Can I have an implant if I lack bone?
Often yes: 3D CBCT assesses volumes precisely and, where needed, regeneration techniques exist. Every case must be assessed individually.
